Support
How can we help?
Answers to the questions people ask most, and a real inbox for everything else. It’s read by the people who build LearnitPal.
Write to us
Email support@learnitpal.com. Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and your phone model if something looks broken. A screenshot helps. We usually reply within two working days.
Creating your account
Sign up with Google, or with your name, email address and a password of at least 8 characters. With email, we send you a code to confirm the address is yours:
- Open the email from
no-reply@platform.learnitpal.comand find the 8-character code. - Enter it in the app. Capitals matter:
Kp7mXq4Randkp7mxq4rare different codes. You can paste it; spaces are ignored. - You’re signed in. If you close the app first, just sign in again and we’ll send a code.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your account’s email address.
- Enter the 8-character code from the email we send you.
- Choose a new password. You’re signed in with it straight away.
Resetting your password signs you out on every other device, and we email you to say the password changed. If you get that email and didn’t change it, reset your password again right away and write to us.
Signed up with Google? You don’t need a password, but you can add one the same way if you’d like to sign in with email too.
The code didn't arrive
- Give it a minute, then check your spam or promotions folder for mail from
no-reply@platform.learnitpal.com. - Check the address you typed. For a password reset we don’t say whether an address has an account, so a typo looks just like success.
- Send a new code from the same screen once the countdown ends (about 1 minute). While a code is still valid, a resend repeats the same code, so any of the emails works.
- Codes last 10 minutes and stop working after five wrong tries. Ask for a new one if yours has run out.
- Seeing “Too many attempts”? Wait a minute and try again. The limit is there to stop people guessing codes.
My newsletter isn't showing up
- Check Sources for new senders. Mail from a sender LearnitPal hasn’t seen before waits until you tap Keep. Until then its issues aren’t in Today.
- Check the address. Your address is at the top of Sources. It looks like
you-7f3a@in.learnitpal.com, and every character counts. - Some senders don’t authenticate their mail. We reject messages that fail spam, virus or sender checks (DKIM or DMARC). If a legitimate newsletter keeps going missing, tell us who sends it.
Forwarding from Gmail
- In Gmail on a computer, open Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address, and enter your LearnitPal address.
- Google sends a confirmation to that address. It shows up in the app, with the Gmail address that asked. Tap Confirm and follow Google’s link.
- Forward only your newsletters, not everything. The app can send you a ready-made Gmail filter to import; it works from a computer, so the link lasts 15 minutes.
Adding a website
Paste the site’s address (for example example.com) in Sources. LearnitPal looks for its RSS or Atom feed. If it can’t find one, the site may not publish a feed; try the address of the blog section itself, or a feed link if the site lists one.
Notifications
- They only arrive inside the windows in Settings → Timing, in your phone’s timezone.
- You get at most your daily limit (one a day unless you change it), and none while you’re reading.
- If nothing arrives at all, check Android’s settings: Apps → LearnitPal → Notifications, and make sure battery optimisation isn’t stopping the app.
Emails from us
- Account emails (codes, password changes, account deletion) come from
no-reply@platform.learnitpal.com. We only send them when you, or someone using your email address, asks for one in the app. - We will never ask for a code or your password by email, phone or chat. Anyone who does is not us; don’t share it.
- We don’t send marketing email.
Your account and data
- To delete your account, open Settings, scroll to the last section and tap Delete account. Details, and what we keep, are on Delete your account.
- Can’t sign in at all? Email us from your account’s address and we’ll help.
